During March, Air Asia was having the free ticket to most of the places. We only need to pay the fuel and airport tax. I cannot remember why I decided to go Sabah. I studied there few years back and the main reason I think of going back is to visit my friends.
After discussed with 2 of my colleagues, we bought the ticket. We also decided to go Sandakan as well since I have never been there during my studies. In fact, I seldom go to other places in Sabah during my studies time. I always come back to Penang during the semester break.
Our flight was at 10:15 on Thursday morning. My colleague's friend fetched us to the airport. We reached there very early since my colleague's friend needs to go to work after sending us to the airport.
Since Air Asia is a free seating flight, you can see many "kia su" people during the boarding. People will start to queue at the boarding gate 30 minutes before the departure time when there is no sign of the Air Asia plane. The flight was full of people. Air Asia is earning money!!!
I sat by the window seat because I wanted to take some photos. Normally, I will prefer an Isle seat. I can stretch my legs along the journey and it's easier if I want to go to the washroom.
We reached Kota Kinabalu, Sabah around 1pm. I managed to snap the photo of Air Asia plane. This one is all red and has the MU logo on it (Too bad you cannot see it on this photo). The one I took was the white one, not so nice if compare to this.
We took a taxi to our hotel. After the check in and settle our belongings in the room, we headed out to the shopping mall.
