Finally I Got Them!

Previously on Books......

Odonata Publishing called on 8 May and I asked them to send me Bright Times together with Moon City when Moon City is out a week later.

On 15 May Thursday, I received an email from Odonata Publishing, saying that they have sent out the books via normal post to me. I was happy to get the email. I thought it will reach me very fast. So, I wait.

There is no sign of the books on Friday and Saturday. I thought it will be on Monday. Later, only I realized Monday is Wesak Day and is a public holiday. Tuesday, 20 May, there is still no sign of the books. I have no choice but to wait patiently. On Wednesday, when I checked my mailbox, I got this card.


Oh man!!! I missed the postman!!! I have work, nothing I can do about it. I need to take this card to collect my books from the post office.

On Thursday, during lunch time, I went to the post office and got the books. I was so excited. I can't wait to see what is written inside the books by the author. Before I opened the package, I took the photos of the package inside my car!


The package is not in good shape. The brown paper seems to be tear off by someone during the delivery. I cannot wait any longer and open it after I took the photos.


This is what I got: Bright Times and Moon City!! I loved both of them!!!


Moon City is written by our lovely 邓秀茵.


Inside the book, you can see her writing and signature. Nice writings right?


For Bright Times, it is written by 许友彬.


友彬哥 wrote my 奕 wrongly. He wrote it as 亦. Anyway, I still like it very much.


On the back of both books, there is a short note. Both are also very meaningful. First one is from Bright Times and second one is from Moon City.
