Friends Forever

On Sat night, after my work, I met up with my friends to have dinner. We didn't meet for a long time and I'm really happy we can meet up on that day. We talked a lot and shared our latest news together. At least, we knew what happen to each other recently.

From the chit chat, each of us also have our own problem, if we didn't tell, no one will know. I feel great to have this kind of sharing session. We give suggestion and try to find a way to help. I can feel that our friendship has go to the next level. We seldom talked about our personal problems, but on that night, we talk almost everything. That is a good sign.

I have one friend, got problem recently. He keeps all the probelms to himself for certain period of time and keeps thinking by his own. You can feel that he has problem as he acted quite strange. I tried to help but failed. Until one day, he talked to me and I gave some suggestions to him. He told me, after he talked to his friends about the problem, he feels better. While helping on his, I also tell him mine. He also helped and provided some good solution to me. I'm really appreciate. This is what friends are for, try to help each other while another has issue. :)

To me, if you have problems that you cannot solve, the best way is, find a friend to talk about. Sometimes, although you have already made the decision on that particular problem, it's still better for you to talk about it. At least, you can release a bit. If not, you will like a balloon, getting bigger and bigger, finally burst one day.

The power of Internet.....2

Since I have my own pc and internet, life starts to change. I started to chat using mIRC. YES, this is the first chatting program that I used. Later, ICQ. ICQ is so popular at that time, almost everyday will chat in the ICQ. I still remember my ICQ number: 7580327. HAHA. Now, I'm not sure still got anyone using it or not. The chatting programs that I'm currently use are: Windows Live Messenger, Skype and QQ.

Besides chatting, email was the most convenient stuff for me to communicate with my friends and relatives in another country. They can receive the mail within seconds just after I sent it! This is TECHNOLOGY!! Amazing. The first email account that I have is from rocketmail. Later, Yahoo bought over rocketmail. Then, I have hotmail account too. Now, I'm no longer using that rocketmail since too many spam.

We can get so many stuff from the internet. MTV, songs, movies, series, etc.... Almost anything that you want, can get it from the WWW.

Talking about Internet, the most important thing is the service provider. If you asked the Malaysian that use STREAMYX, most will tell you one thing: the serivce is SUX!!! It's true, STREAMYX has monopoly almost all the market. I'm just having the problem cannot online last few days. Really fed up with the service. I called few times then only can solve my issue. At first, they told me my hardware problem. How can it be??? So, I just ignore it and wait for few hours, then I can online. Few days later, the problem comes again. This time is worse, whole night I'm not able to online!! Arrrgghhhh~~~~~ Finally, they told me it's their hardware problem and need to do some setting on the port. WTF, how can this be? But, no choice la, what to do... as long as I can use it now, cannot complain so much.

Now, if you ask me whether I can live without Internet, my answer will be YES and NO. YES: If only for few days, while going for vacation. NO: If there will be no internet connection for the rest of my life.

Just wondering, why people can live without the internet 10-20 years back and why I can't now? I've totally no idea.

I started to watch this TVB series yesterday after 2 of my best friend told me it's really good. One of them seldom watch TVB series and so happen he watched this one and told me it's nice, keep watching until midnight. Hahaha, he said now only he knows why people can chase after series. I want to thank him since the series is copied from him. :)



I only watched until episode 5, total of 40 episodes. OK, continue watching....

The power of Internet.....1

Internet...... change my life a lot a lot a lot.

Back to 10 years ago, which is 1997, I only can online on my aunt's PC, since I don't have my own PC. Until 1998, finally I have my first own PC. The whole system costs me more than 2K if I'm not mistaken. I bought all the parts by myself and with friends' help, assemble it up. On that time, my processor is Intel MMX 200 MHz, Tomato Motherboard (Tomato is the brand of the MB), 2MB Graphic Card (i forgot whether is it 2MB, not so sure), 24X CDROM, 64MB PC-100 RAM, 2.1GB harddisk, 33.6K external modem (I forgot the brand), 14" monitor, and HP DeskJet 670C printer. I didn't get all the parts at one time due to money constraint and some of the hardware are out of stock.

At that time, 2.1GB hd and 33.6K or 56K modem is consider very high tech. Operating System is Windows 98. We cannot imagine that hd can actually go to 1TG 10 years later. Now, 2.1GB hd totally not able to keep much data, 1 DVD is more than that.

Talk about PC, sure cannot miss out the PC games. I like those Chinese RPG, can play until no day no night (hahaha, purposely use this phrase), just to beat the enemy. When think of it, I really have a great time when playing last time. Some of the games need higher requirement, so no choice, cannot play. Some of them can play, but it will lag. I still remember when playing the "Condor Hero", the attack that performed needs to wait 1-2 minutes just for it to be done. Hahaha, funny.

I cannot remember since when I stop to play PC games. Maybe after certain of age range, we don't have the mood or time to play it anymore. This is only applicable to me. Another reason is, the games nowadays need quite high requirement, my PC although is Pentium 4 2.4Ghz, still not able to play, my graphic card is still using TNT2 32MB. Haha. So, just forget it. Maybe I will play again when I upgrade my PC, that will be next year or another year, see how it goes.

Hmmmmm, seems that I have talked on PC more than Internet, which is the title for this post. Never mind la, as long as I'm happy. I will continue to talk about Internet for the coming post. :)

Actually, I dont want to post any blog in blogspot anymore, since my blog is in Chinese and I have moved my blog to a Sina. However, some of my friends not really understand Chinese and keep asking me when I will write blog in English again (I have posted one English blog in my Sina site). So, since so many people are blogging recently, I decided to reopen my blogspot, to write in English. For the Chinese blog, visit my Sina's blog.

OK..... Let's start..... I didn't login blogspot for a long time and today when I login, it asked me to change to a new template. So, ok lo.... before change, it states that some of the setting will be erased but the system will backup before changing it. I go ahead and click yes. All my previous setting is gone with my one click and I tried to restore back my previous setting, wt*........ I cannot find it!! SHIT!! Nevermind, maybe it wants me restart everything to have a new life. Wahahahaha.

爱上猪一样的男子

前几天，做晚班做到发闷，反正闲来没事做，就到网上看看有什么好书或故事可以看的。找着找着，我就进到了了一个小说的网站。当我正在找寻小说的时候，看到了在右手边的一本小说。我一看它的书名，就被它吸引了。因为它的书名蛮特别的，叫作《爱上猪一样的男子》。


猪给我的印象是懒惰，懒散，吃饱睡，谁饱又吃的动物。女子怎么会爱上一个像猪的男子啊？我心里这么地想。在好奇心驱动之下，我就点击了它的连接，进入了小说内容。有可能太久没有读爱情小说的缘故，我就这样被它的情节所吸引了。

看完之后，觉得写得好好哦。很生活化的爱情故事，有些情节真的似曾相识。并不像其他的爱情小说，女的长得美若天仙，男的呢，就英俊潇洒。然后，经过了离别，到最后一定会在一起。虽然大团圆结局是很开心的一件事，可是，又是描写得太美满了，日常生活根本不可能的嘛。也有可能是这样的缘故，我渐渐喜欢上这个小说，开始找寻她的其他著作。找啊找，就找到了她的个人部落格。

部落格里面有很多关于她的书的连接，最新消息等。她的新书将快出版了。我在她的评论区留了言，并没有想到会有回复或什么的。可是，应该是隔天吧，我再上到她的部落格的时候，竟然看到了她的回复。作家竟然回复我的留言，真的难以自信。作家应该很忙写作的吧，我是这样想的。过后，又问了几个关于订购新书的问题，她都一一回复了。

差一点忘了，你们可以通过这里阅读到《爱上猪一样的男子》。

讲了这么多，还没说作者的名字呢。她是落了一夜泪。又是一个好奇怪的笔名。

奥斯卡名单出炉

备受瞩目的《断背山》终于夺得了最佳导演奖。可是，最佳电影就给了《撞车》这部电影。其实，5部提名电影，我一部都没看过，真的很难给任何评语。等我看完之后，再写一写。

专辑和电影推荐

最近时常重复听的专辑有林宇中《1st》，卫兰《MyLove》，林俊杰《曹操》和郭富城《thematic》。


林宇中是马来西亚新创作歌手。之前曾为不少歌手写过歌，包括了陈小春、张智成、品冠、张韶涵、阿杜、陶晶莹等。>如果想知道他的更多最新消息，可以到林宇中网路日记看看。


卫兰也是新人一名。2005 年推出了第一张专辑《Day & Night》，里面收录的全部都是翻唱黎明的歌曲。《MyLove》已经是她的第二张个人专辑。近期值得注意的乐坛新人。

《曹操》是林俊杰第4张专辑。从第1张《乐行者》到《第二天堂》再到《编号89757》，每张都有不错的成绩。这张专辑里面的几首歌，延续了之前的曲风。《原来》是继《一千年以后》又一首痴情的伤心情歌；《熟能生巧》是继《江南》之后，又一首融合中国风的情歌。

郭富城《thematic》收录了之前一经发表过的歌曲包括了飞，三岔口，唱下去和I'm Aaron Kwok. 这次推出的只是EP AVCD方式，一共收录了8首歌曲（6首粤语，2首华语（翻译粤语的））。其他两首歌是亲爱的和我Buy。

电影方面看了《粉红豹》。由开始笑到尾，虽然有一些情节并不合逻辑，可是这些并不重要。重要的是，它可以令你暂时忘掉烦恼，开开心心的笑个够。值得一看。

电子狗 iDog

不知在何时何地开始，竟然对这只电子狗产生了浓厚的兴趣（可别想歪哦）。超可爱！！以为会很贵的，可是在amazon才卖USD30左右。真的好喜欢哦。在网上读了几篇评论和找到了几张照片，就把它贴在这里分享。

最新近况

自从做了11天的晚班，对晚班已有一定的厌倦。虽然晚班的工作量是少之又少，可是，那种想睡又没得睡的滋味真的不好受。早上回到家，本来可以好好的睡一觉，可是，家后面的屋子在进行装修，把我的睡眠计划彻底的破坏了。普通时候已经需要8小时睡眠的我，经过晚班+睡眠不足的折磨，把我整个人变得没有精神，来上班好像行尸走肉般，勉强托着疲惫的身心来公司。咳。。。。。

前几天的报纸都有刊登关于部落格的资料。部落格好像已经越来越普遍，越来越红。它其实是一个可以让人舒解情绪的地方，可以将不满的情绪统统把它写出来。另外，还可以跟朋友之间保持连系，真的是一举多得。哇哈哈。

上面两段是在星期日凌晨写的。怎知道写到一半，电话就响了。那个问题搞了我整个凌晨，到我下班还没解决，还必须传给我下一班的同事，真是的。所以呢，这段开始是在两天后的今天，也就是星期二继续的。

刚刚我的中国朋友突然间发了短讯在MSN给我。他很少会联络我的，因为工作忙的缘故。说着说着，就讲到了关于近况。我就跟他说去我的部落客就能知道我最近的事情了。然后我才想起，那天写到一半还没写完。反正没什么事情要处理，所以就登入来继续说说我的近况。（其实是讲废话比较多，哈哈！）

汽油又起价了。这次起了30仙，把原本每公升RM1.62起到每公升RM1.92，简直要了人民的命。昨晚回家的时候，看到我家前面的油站，历史性地排长龙等着添油，我就知道油价又起了。还以为只是起10或20仙，今天看了报纸才知道起了30仙。我车子的油将要完了，本来有想过，不如也去凑热闹，排队等添油。可是，最后还是没有行动。干脆回家算了。

除了汽油，电费也会在近期内调高。天啊。。。。。。每样东西都在起价，唯有薪水一年才起那么一点点，真的是。。。。。。（想不到形容词来形容。如果你们想到的话，留言告知哦。）

已经是二月的最后一天了。明天三月就会来到。真快。

新年期间

终于到了第8天，新年已经来到第5天，年初五。

艳阳高照了那么多天，昨天年初四，下起雨来了。给人一些清凉的感觉，不然的话，闷热X了。(新年期间，不可以说不吉利的话，所以好用X来代替了。)

之前已经说过了，今年的新年跟往年不同。连续的做工，根本没有感受到农历新年的气氛。就像跟平常没什么两样。日子还是一天一天的过。2006年已经进入了第2个月。

从年初一到年初四，只去了我以前老师的家拜年。朋友第一次驾车来在我们，而且还不是小辆车呢，Hyundai Matrix。 我们一车6人浩浩荡荡的从我家出发。在路途中，给无数的笑话，弄到我们一个个笑个不停。已经很久没有这样笑过了呢。感觉好像回到中六的时候。好开心。读书时期，多么的无忧无虑，虽然要烦考试和功课，可是，比起做工，轻松多了。好怀念以前的日子啊！！

还剩3天就可以休息了。期待ing。。。

新年来了

自从从新加坡回来之后，工作方面忙了一些，已经很久没有更新，差一点就忘了有这个博客的存在。哈哈。

明天，就是农历新年前夕了。鸡年结束，迎接狗年的来临。今年的新年会比较特别。为什么呢？因为，今年是第一年必须在公司里度过农历新年。从年廿六开始到初七，连续十一天的晚班。十一天！！！今天是第二天，还要多熬九天，希望能撑过去啦。其实，初一到初四并不是我的工作天。因为，同事拿假去了，所以就帮她做完四天。赚一些钱咯。。。
