For all the Malaysians, do you know what is the main topic of the day? I think all of you know and aware of it. Yes, the petrol price will increase from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70 per litre from 12am 5 June 2008 onwards.
Oh man, it's a RM0.78 increment!! Normally, I will pump 40 litres and it costs me RM76.80. With the price increase, I need to pay RM108 for 40 litres! Fainted~~~~
However, it seems like we will get a rebate of RM625 per car and RM150 per motorcycle annually. I'm not sure about the detail, I just heard it from my friends. I will find out more from tomorrow newspaper.
I am sure, all the newspaper will have a big title tomorrow about this issue. This topic will become a discussion HOT topic for all the Malaysians for this week!

Not only petrol lor. Other things are going to follow one. Gas lar, electric lar, food lar etc etc.
I think our car not eligible for the rebate leh.....

piggy, yes lo.... electricity will increase by july but only affected those who use more than RM40. our car eligible la. car 2000cc below can get RM625 and motor 250cc below will get RM150.

vehicles below 2000cc will receive an annual rebate of RM625 to compensate for 800 litres of fuel used under the new price.
On the other hand, road tax for vehicles above 2,000cc will be reduced by RM200. For motorbikes above 250cc, their road tax will be slashed by RM50, but a minimum rate of RM2 road tax will be maintained.
Although the fuel price increase is global but "shui-shui" lo since Abdullah bcome PM from 2004 till now the fuel price increase 97%

D other time i cross the broader, Malaysia immigration it took me abt 1 hr to clear the immigration, that was quite long time liao...
