My friend got a 56K Motorola modem at that time for RM500+. It's so expensive! For dial up, we need to use our phone line. The phone bill was high if we always online. Good News!!!

I called to streamyx customer service once again.... Although i knew I will only get the same answer. This time is worst. The customer service told me, they cannot check whether there are ports available or not. $#%%^%@^$^@$">$#%%^%@^$^@$ I think of scolding them but I controlled. Previously when I called, they manage to check for me, now said cannot. Arrrrrgghhhhhh.......

After that call, I called my condo management. I complained to them few times and they actually said want to help me write the letter to TM. So, I called and checked on the letter. She not yet prepared for me. :( However, she said she will help me call the in charge person of TM and let me know. After a while, she really call me back. She told me the in charge person will add the ports for our place.

2 hours later, the management called me. I'm driving at that time, on the way to my new house. She told me TM already added 14 ports for my area and asked me to go apply ASAP!! OMG!!!

That time is already 4.30pm, I was so afraid TM already closed. After I get the call, I immediately changed my route and drove directly to the TM point. As usual, after getting the number and waited for a while, it was my turn. I told the agent there I want to transfer my streamyx. Guess what..... they said ports are available!!!! Oh my.... Finally........ YES!!!!!

I was so happy. At last, I can online at my new house although still need to wait 3-4 days. Nevermind la.... I have already waited for few weeks, 3-4 days to me is nothing already.

Free Internet

I'm so happy~~~~ I finally found the spot for me to use internet at my new place. Hehehe... The person is kind enough to open his/her wireless without setting any password on it. Yahoo...... I can temporary use it until my streamyx account is moved here.

I talked to the management the other day on this issue. The management said they need to send the letter to TM in order for them to speed up the process of having new ports here. However, they are also not sure when TM will come to install the new ports. Anyway, they asked me to call and ask next week. I hope by then, I can transfer my account over here.

Once again, I want to thank the person who shared the wireless out. I cannot write the username here, I just afraid somehow he/she see this post and immediately set the password for the wireless. HAHAHA.

Streamyx Sux!!!

I'm not able to online for few days due to that stupid and lousy streamyx service. At first, I thought it's due to my hardware issue. But I can online on and off. I called them up and they said my port is having some problem, they were not able to reset my port and need to escalate to their technician for the next level support. I have no idea why my port is having problem again. They just changed it for me few months back due to the packet lost issue.

Besides this, I went to TM the other day, thinking of transferring my Streamyx account over to my new house. I thought it will be easier, but it turn out not to be in this way. They told me, your area ports already full, need to wait for the new port. I asked them when will it be. They gave me a very stupid answer, DON'T KNOW. I almost scolded them. What a silly answer!!! I really cannot accept. Later, they told me it should be 2 weeks later, and gave me the phone number for me to call and check the status. I called the number but no one answer the phone. WTF!!! What kind of service is this?

I just think that, if in the market, we have many other service provider, will TM act like this? I don't think so. For the time being, Streamyx are dominant almost the whole market. From this incident, I really think of changing to another service provider like Maxis or Penangfon. The signal for Maxis is not strong enough on my area. For Penangfon, they still negotiating with the developer's management. Arrrgghhhh.......

I'm going to move in real soon, it means that I cannot use my internet in my new house! Oh man..... How can it be? I have totally no idea how am I going to live without the internet. I cannot check my mail, cannot facebook-ing, cannot blogging, cannot MSN, cannot Skype, cannot download, cannot.......... So many things I cannot do. Nothing I can do now but just chase after them day to day. I hope they are people that are so kind to open their wireless without setting any password, so I can steal their wireless and use. Another option, maybe I can stick the note inside the lift or ask who wants to share me their wireless connection, I will pay them accordingly.

Streamyx really gave me lot of problems. Conclusion, Streamyx SUX!!!
