My CRAZY Working Schedule

Starting last Sunday 11 May 2008, I need to go to office everyday for 13 days in a row. Here is my schedule:

11/5 to 14/5 - My own shift.
15/5 - Covering my colleague.
16/5 - Training.
17/5 - Return one day to my colleague. I owed her.
18/5 to 20/5 - My own day shift.
21/5 to 23/5 - Covering my colleague.

CRAZY LOH!!!!

That's why, I asked one of my colleague to swap on this Sunday with me. I will return her one day on next month. At least I can rest one day in between this super duper crazy schedule. She agreed and I'm happy about it. Of course happy la, since I can rest, although only 1 day. Better than nothing.

Today, the whole morning, my left eye keeps "moving" non stop. Cantonese says Ngan Mei Tiu 眼眉调. If this happen, for left eye, it is bad and for right eye, it is good 左凶右吉.

In the afternoon, my phone rang. My colleague called me, said that got a big problem. She promised another colleague to swap with him and work night shift instead of morning. By doing so, means she will work on Saturday night until Sunday morning. She was not able to help me to work on Sunday anymore!

I was not happy. Of course la, she promised me first then now told me cannot. I already planned to take my mum out for lunch or dinner on this Sunday. Now, all also no need to say anymore. Plan need to be cancel and I need to go to work! Back to 13 days in a row.

If you already promise someone, will you break your promise? I have no idea. But for me, I will not simply promise over something if I am not sure about it.

I feel very upset and my mood is like taking a roller coaster, from very high point suddenly drop to a very low point. Sigh...... Don't want to think so much now. I just wish the time will pass quickly and it will be over after next Friday!

Wish me luck!!!

Mother's Day Gift

I received a call during my work on Sunday. He asked me whether I'm at home because he wanted to deliver something to my mum. I was like, huh? Deliver what? Then I realized, it was Mother's Day. For sure it will be my 3rd sister. She is the only one will send my mum gifts during Mother's Day. She never informed me about it. She forgot about it, as what she said.

Flowers..... Nice?

This cake comes with the flowers. Nice cakes! Yummy!!

I'm not yet celebrated with my mum. We postponed it. Hahaha. :)

Time for the Answer

I think it's time for me to reveal the answer for my guessing contest. Hmmmm, is it a contest by the way? :) If I didn't reveal it by today, I think Kikey, Dora, Sharon and LimZhi will kill me! Hahaha.

This is the box inside the DHL envelope. It's not really a big one, and not a small one either. Can you guess what is inside now?

BOOKS!!!!! Yes, I bought books from Taiwan online book store. I cannot find these books in the Popular due to these books were released few years back. Maybe you will ask, why not just ask Popular to help ordering the books. I can tell you, it's easier for me to order online. The price for the books are actually very cheap! After including the shipping fees, it is still cheaper! Can you imagine this? Furthermore, It only takes 3 days for the books to reach me!!! It's super duper fast. I ordered on Sunday morning and the books reached on Wednesday noon! Amazing service.

Here are the books I bought. How many of them? Can you count from this photo?

Just in case you are not able to count how many from the above photo, here's the order list. It's a total of 6!!! I covered the price for the books. Hehehe.

The winner for this guessing game is the one and only Chobits!!! Yes la, it's you!!! You are the first one to leave the comment and stated books! You won yourself a gift from me! What gift is that? You will know when you receive it.

For the second question on how many item I bought, no one guess it correctly. Many of you said 2, including Akira, Piggy, TSP, Ang Ku, K3vin, Anne and 恶魔的恋人. While Joze and Sai Ling said 3. Ping Ping said 4 and 百勤 said 5. I'm waiting for someone to reply with a number 6, but it seems no one think that I will buy so many books at one time!

Thanks for everyone who participate! Although you didn't win a gift from me, I'm still help to advertise your blog by having the link on your name! Not bad right? :)

I will still have this kind of game in the future, just visit my blog more often la! I also want to take the opportunity to thank all who visited my blog often. With your support and comments, I only have the motivation to continue and write more and more!

THANKS and LOVE U ALL! MUACKS MUACKS!!

P/S Since no one won my 2nd gift, for the one who get my sofa for this post, I will give the second gift to him or her! Good Luck!!! I can't wait to see who is the lucky one!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Frontier(s)

For those who know me, they will know I am a horror movie fan! I like to watch horror or ghost movie, no matter in Chinese, Thai or English as long as there is a subtitle if the movie is in the language that I don't understand.

Few days back, Hoon told me about this latest horror movie called Frontier(s). I never heard of this movie. She asked me to check this horror movie out since she knew I will like it. I was quite busy that time and I didn't check on it until now.

I just watched the Trailer of this movie. From the trailer, it seems so exciting and horror. You can see they use axe to chop off people. Oh my.... Can you just imagine the scene? For sure it will be blood everywhere!

This movie is released in cinema on May 9. Frontier(s) DVD will be released 4 days later, which is on 13 May. This movie in unrated but it manages to get into the theaters. The story is about one group of people manage to escape from the police. They run and hide in a hotel. They are not aware that this hotel is actually own by a group of neo-Nazi cannibals.

Frontier(s), the horror movie that you must not miss, if you are a horror movie fan like me!

Bright Times

Previously on Books......

I successfully pre ordered the latest novel from 许友彬 and 邓秀茵.

On Tuesday 6 May 2008, Bright Times is out finally! I got to know the news from 许友彬's blog.

This photo is taken from 许友彬's blog.

Today, 8 May 2008 Thursday, Jasmine (I think is Jasmine gua....) from ODONATA Publishing called me up. She told me Bright Times is out. Since I ordered together with Moon City, she asked me whether I want them to send me Bright Times first. I asked her when Moon City will be published. She said next week. I decided to let them send me both of the books together by next week. It's easier for them. I'm waiting again......

*********************

Oh, I think many of you are waiting for my answer especially Chobits and Dora. They cannot wait anymore. Hahahaha. But, I need to disappoint you already. I have decided not to reveal yet! Muahahahaha.

Some of you maybe think that the thing that I bought online are Moon City and Bright Times. I can tell you, it's not! The online store is from Taiwan and the item I bought is not only one, is more than one. I got the package this morning!

Yesterday I said MAYBE i will give the one who guess correctly a gift. Today, I decided to give u a gift, no MAYBE anymore. YES, you can get a gift from me if you guess it correctly. For those who wants to change your answer, you can do so. If you don't want, I will just refer back to yesterday reply.

One more guess, I would like you all to guess: How many items I bought? I will give another gift for this question!!! That means, TWO gifts all together!!!

Waiting for your comments. Good Luck!!!

My Order

I bought something from the internet on Sunday. I have been thinking for many days before I decided to buy. I buy it because I cannot find it here. Finally, on last Sunday morning, I clicked on the submitted button.

From the site, it stated the shipping and delivering will only take 1-4 days. I'm not really sure about this. So, I waited patiently (actually, I'm not patient at all.) This evening, when I woke up, I saw one piece of paper on top of my laptop. I knew it was the delivery. I asked my mum, my mum said she was in the washroom and didn't hear the delivery. They left me a note, saying that they came and I was not at home.

I called to the number given and another arrangement has been made. It will be between 9am-12pm tomorrow. I'm waiting......

The service is super duper fast!!! From Sunday until today, it is only the 3rd day (Sunday cannot be counted since no one work on Sunday except ME!). Oh, the company is using DHL to deliver my order.

What I bought from internet? Let you all have a guess. For the only ONE who guess it correctly, maybe I will give you a gift. I said MAYBE! Hahaha.

The answer will be in my next post, if DHL successfully deliver my order to me tomorrow!

Stay Tune~~~

P/S I have told SOMEONE on the ordering. So, SOMEONE, please don't come and tell ya. Hahaha.

Durian and Mangosteen

I don't know durian's season already arrived until I went to market the other day and saw it there.

I am not a crazy durian fan. I will eat it if there is durian in my house. However, I prefer to eat it during night time. If not, when you burp after you have the durian, you will faint. The smell is like OMTK. That is why many foreigners cannot stand the smell. They said the smell is like shit. Hmmmmm, I don't have any comment on this. But, sometimes I will think, if I'm not born in Malaysia, will I act like them? Will I like the durian as well? I don't have the answer. Do you?

Durian is the King of fruit. Then what is the Queen of fruit? No need me to tell you also know. It's mangosteen. Again, I'm not a big fan of mangosteen but my brother is. He likes mangosteen very much. He always ask my mum to buy for him. Now, he is not in Malaysia anymore. I'm not sure he still manage to get the mangosteen in US or not. Let me ask him when I see him online.

Durian and Mangosteen, which one you prefer?

P/S I knew Ping Ping likes mangosteen very much. Do you want to know how she eat them when she was small? Go to her blog and find out her mangosteen story! You will OMG like me when you read it. :)

P/S again.... Hoi Ping Ping, I help you to advertise your blog leh.... Kam dong bo? haha.

Social Spark

Last month, I received an email from IZEA. The email is inviting me to join the Social Spark Beta. If you are an IZEA memeber, I think you will receive the same email as I do. At first, I didn't go and register.

Few days later, I chat with my friend in MSN and I ask her about this Social Spark thingy. She said she also got the email and she has registered with them. Since she registered, I also login to the site, registered and create my own profile.

From what I can see, Social Spark is a community for you to make friends and of course, writing the review like what you are doing for PPP. You can add your blog to your profile. Before your blog is approved, you need to copy the code and paste into the body of your blog. After approved, you can start to grab the job which is available.

However, the job is not assign to you straight away. You will be in the wait list. Once it reached your turn, you will receive an email on the job detail. Until now, I never receive any from them although I have wait listed for a few. I'm waiting and waiting.

Just curious, will SocialSpark replace the PPP? Do you hear anything about this? For me, I have no idea. Maybe just wait and see. If it is the replacement, for sure you will get a notification from them. But, I hope it's not. :)

This Post Brought to you by Social Spark.

Terengganu Road Market

I went to Terenganu Road Market with my mum. My mum wanted to go to her friend's house which is nearby. Before going to her house, we went to the market.

I brought my digital camera along. I thought of taking the char kueh teow photo but the stall did not open on that day, ended up I ate other food for breakfast. =.=" Since I have my camera, for sure there will be nice photos to share.

The chickens are inside the cage. On the way back, I saw the seller came and took one of the chicken out of the cage. He is going to kill it later. Oh my, I cannot see this kind of thing. I told my mum: see, they going to kill the chicken!!! I quickly walked away.

Roasted pork and BBQ pork. My favorite!

Fish..... Big fishes.....

The flat is just beside the market. You see, the clothes are hanging there. I'm not sure will the clothes have the market smell or not.

I like the blue blue sky.........

Banana..... Lots of bananas..... When I took this photo, there was a lady telling the fruit stall seller, which is a guy in Hokkien: Eh, ee hip lu eh kin cheo. If direct translate to English, it will be: hey he took the photo of your banana. Hmmmm, you get what I mean? Hahahaha, so funny. :D

A big stingray. I just zoom and took the photo. My mum said it will be better if I took it when the guy took the stingray from the container, only can see how big it was. I missed that. Anyhow, I think you still can see how big is was from this angle.

Market, one of the places for me to take photos. From there, you can also see different kind of people. I will go there again for my char kueh teow. Hehehe.

Bed Bugs

I received one forwarded email from someone about the bed bug. It happened in a hotel room. The person woke up in the middle of the night due to the bed bug bites. He asked for help but the hotel management seems not helping at all. He got a bad service from them. That is why the complain email is sent out.

Do you actually know what are bed bugs? Where they come from? What is the sign of bed bugs and How to kill them? If you are not sure and want to get the answers, just check out Bed Bugs Guide.

Sky Photos (XI)

Here comes the sky photos again.....

I like the below 2 photos. The orange sky was so nice! Not always can see this kind of sky. I still remember, on that day, I went to buy the bread and saw the sky. I took the photos with my hp and the bread seller was looking at me. I think he thought that this guy was a little bit weird. Sky photos also want to take. Hahaha.

It's so good to have a phone camera with me all the while. I can take any photo whenever I like. :)

Moon City and Bright Times

Previously on Books......

(Hahaha, I copied the beginning from those English series.) I talked about the books by our local writer, Deng Xiu Yin 邓秀茵 and Xu You Bin 许友彬.

Today, I want to introduce the latest books from both of them. They are Moon City and Bright Times.

Moon City is about the friendship. In this novel, 3 friends received the same email from a mysterious person, saying that he can help them to find the school's director who has disappeared.

They follow the tips from the mysterious person and start their finding journey, in an unknown city, Moon City. Along the journey, misunderstanding happen among the 3 friends due to another person join them on the searching. In a few days time, they need to handle the mysterious person, and also settle the conflict among them.

Bright Times is a story about the Snow River primary school. Snow River is having more than 100 students years back. But now, the school is only having 5 students, which are from 3 families: Chuah, Koay and Gan.

Due to not enough students, the school need to move. The students don't want the school to be moved. They need to do all their best, to achieve good results in all fields and even sacrifice, just to make the school become popular. All their shining moments will be written in this novel, Bright Times.

Both books are still in the progress of publishing state. However, you can pre-order these 2 books now. I have done so. I'm now waiting for the books to reach me by mid of May (If I'm not mistaken). If you want to order the book, just go to ODONATA Publishing. Add the books in your shopping cart. You can pay them through CIMB Bank. Oh, if you want to have the author's signature, remember to write that in the column "comments for order".

I just can't wait to get their books!

I am YOUNG!!!

I don't have any secret for being young. Maybe my face just didn't match my age.

Last time, when I went to Genting, every time going to the casino, the guard will ask me to show them my IC. No choice lo, look young mar... Hahaha.

2 weeks back, I went out with Akira and his friends. Akira started to asked his friends on my age. They said I am 24 or 25. Akira told them is wrong. Then you know what age they guess? 21!!! I keep on laughing. If I am 21 now, that will be nice! Wakakakaka.

And this is not yet the end. Just now, I went out with Akira again, to meet up Siang. Akira, again asking him on my age! Siang said I born in the year of 86, younger than Akira. It means I am 22 years old this year!!! Again, I keep on laughing. Wow, I looked like 22!!! Not bad huh! Akira, you need to look into the mirror, and see why others said you looked older than me, although you are not!

For those who know my age, don't jealous la.... What can I do? It's not I want one... Am I sound "chuin" a bit? Hahaha :)
