后青春期的诗

你没有看错，是的，我写中文。已经很久没写了，忽然想写中文，应该是因为看了九把刀的《后青春期的诗》。

我昨天跟友人去了唱K，唱完过后就逛广场，已经很久没逛广场了。我并不是很喜欢逛广场的人，尤其是周末或假期。我不喜欢跟别人争的感觉，太不好受了。既然已经在那边，大众书局成了我不会错过的地方。进入大众书局是因为想买2009运程的书给我妈妈看，其实，自己也想看看啦。我有时候也是蛮迷信的。在看着其他的书的同时，看到了九把刀的《后青春期的诗》，毫不犹豫的从书架上拿了下来。

回家，看了一点，太累了，所以就睡个小觉。从吃点心回来，已经12点多，丝毫没有像睡的感觉，就继续读下去。不读则以，一读不可收拾，直接把它看完了。读的时候，感触蛮多的。


《后青春期的诗》是讲述一群好友，在18岁的那年，一起写下了3个梦想，放进了水壶里，把它深埋在地低下，10年后，再回来一起挖出来看，到底梦想实现了没。故事情节有点似成相似的感觉，可是，它就是那么的贴近我们的生活。我真的很好奇，有没有人真的这样做了呢？我，没有。可是，我真的想。

我一直都很重视朋友。我觉得，能成为朋友，真的不简单。能成为好朋友，更不容易。如果，人生有几个死党可以跟你一起度过的话，那，死也死的瞑目了吧。哈哈，好像太夸了。可是，我就是这种人。现在回想起来，18岁的时候，我做了些什么？已经没有什么印象了。只记得，18岁，还在念中五，忙着应付考试，好像没有什么令人难忘的事。有时候，真的想有一些惊天动地的事情，可以让我回味。遗憾的，好像没有。

出来工作后，以前的朋友已经很难相聚在一起。更何况，我的上班时间和普通的上班族不一样。有时候，朋友叫我出去，我很想，可是我不能。我很希望他们能理解，毕竟，理论上来说，已经是多年的朋友，应该会体谅。可是，他们会有一个观念，会说，每次你都不能的。哎~~~ 我真的无语。久而久之，渐渐疏远了。

之前，和一位朋友为了一些小事争吵，没说话超过了半年。虽然，偶尔也有MSN，可是，已经没有以前般无所不谈。近期，跟他在MSN闲聊时，我提起了这件事。我们都一致认为，我们比女孩子还糟糕。为了一点点的事，而不说话，多孩子气啊！想到就好笑，哈哈哈！！！我们各自其实都在等对方开始说话。幸好，我把我们的友情挽回了。我很庆幸我踏出了第一步。

讲了这么多，其实，我想说的是，如果你有一群好友的话，要好好珍惜彼此之间的友情，别让它轻易的毁掉了。

People Nowadays

People nowadays are rude! They are not having a basic manner, which is saying thank you. The story goes like this......

Before I went into the lift, I always go to my mail box to have a look. To my surprise, there is a bunch of keys inserted into one of the mailbox. Due to too kind, I took the key and think of passing them back to the owner. I scared later others took it.

I went to that floor and rang the door bell. Someone came out and I passed the keys to him. I told him they keys were left in the mail box. The guy just make an "oh" voice, took it, and close the door!

Is it so hard to say thank you? This is the very basic manner. Furthermore, I helped to return a whole bunch of keys! No idea why people nowadays are like that. Do you have any idea?

Kitchen

Kitchen is the most important place for my mum. She cooks everyday and she spends most of the time in the kitchen. That is why, when I bought the new house and doing the renovation, most of the kitchen stuffs need to get her approval. I let her to decide what she wants and what she needs. In that case, she will not bug me in the future, since it is her choice. :)

I seldom use the kitchen. Most of the time, I will only go to the kitchen to get water, food and cook instant noodle. Yes, I am good at cooking instant noodle. Besides, I am also good at fried rice.

New Year is coming soon and I still left one kitchen appliances that I need, The Stand Mixer. I need it for baking the butter cookies. With the mixer, I can try on baking cakes as well.

I am not sure have you listened to this song before or not. If you are not, let me introduce this good song to you. I first listened to this song through youtube, on one of the school singing competition. The person who sang this song is a singer now. He sang really well.



After that, I start to search for the song with the original singer, of course. One of my friend also like this song very much. She listened to the one Zhang Yu Sheng duet wuth Tao Jin Ying. She keeps on listening and become our song during the karaoke. We want to challenge it since it is not easy to sing. :)

However, I still prefer the solo version.

Team Building

I just back from my department team building in Genting 2 days back. It was a fun trip and I think everyone is enjoying. This is the very first time I have the chance to go out of Penang to have a team building with all my team members. It is hard for us to have this kind of activities since we are in a support environment.

After this team building, we planned to go to somewhere else for the coming week. Factories are shutting down. This is the reason why we can go outing again together. I am really looking forward to the outing we are going to have in almost 10 days time!

Into Business

Just after graduating from University and starting to work, I always think of having own business. I knew that working under someone will not let me earn much. The salary is fix. I need to wait for my year end performance review, only can know whether I can get an increment or not. If I am not hardworking enough, the increment will be less or maybe none! Like this year, the economy starts to going down, many of the companies have announced that, there will be no increment and bonus for their employees. Furthermore, by year end, those companies will shutdown for more than 10 days. All the employees will be forced to take annual leaves during these shutdown period. I still never get any news on the increment but there are rumors saying that our company will be the same as others.

Since working for others are not secure, why not I work for myself. I think it will be a good idea. For someone, they will think that doing a business is very risky. They prefer to work for others and every month get the salary. One of my friend quit his job and start to do his own business. He is now the co-owner for a restaurant. Although the new business needs more time to take care, it is still better if compare to work under other company. He told me he wants to open a restaurant in my hometown after 2-3 years time. He needs some modal and experience before he can start a new one.

To start a business nowadays is not so difficult if compare to last time. You can easily get the business loans from many banks without any major requirements. If you really think of owning a business, it is better to make a move, rather than sit there and think non stop, without taking any action.

Not Concentrate

I just back from my company annual dinner. Just after the dinner finished, I left. I thought I can reach home early but it turn out not to be. I fetched one of my friend since she live in the same block as I do. She is my colleague.

We are talking and thinking of ways to go back to our houise, after our department team building next week. We talked until I just followed the straight road, forgot to follow another lane. Just after I realized, I asked her, "Are we on the bridge now?" OH MY!!! We were on the bridge! I cannot have a U turn. I need to drive until the end of the bridge, make a turn and pay the toll. :(

I told her, we need to go buy 4D tomorrow. She suggested to buy my car number in reverse. Hahaha. Who wants to buy? Get my car number from me!! :)

Anyway, we managed to reach home safely, this is the most important, agree?

If you are upset because they are writing negative things about you, be reasonable, try to see if there is a way to resolve the issues and mend your relationship with the writer. If that doesn’t seem to be possible, stop going to the website. They will eventually get bored and move on.

Ex-friends, lovers and estranged family members who have been cut out of the writer’s life should refrain from reading their journal. If the relationship has ended, there is no reason you should get daily updates on the person’s life. If you simply can’t help yourself, do it quietly, and never repeat whatyou read or use it to hurt the writer.

Feedback and initiating contact

If they have a guest book, sign it. Compliments will always be graciously accepted and appreciated. Criticisms and reproaches are fine if you have a problem with something, but try to remain constructive and not be an asshole. No one is forcing you to give out your opinions, so if you don’t have anything remotely positive to say, it may be best to keep quiet.

When contacting a person for the first time, have a clue. If they have a detailed biography and personal information that describes their life from the day they were born, chances are they won’t appreciate you wasting their time asking them how old they are or where they live. Writers put a lot of thought and time into their sites, so take the time to read the information they provide you with before you ask for more.

Never assume a writer owes you any response. They may receive from a few to hundreds of messages per day. Some will gladly write back immediately, others will never reply. Try not to take it personally, becausechances are it has more to do with their schedule than anything else. If you get upset and nasty about feeling rejected, you will probably ruin any chances you had of befriending the person.

Don’t delude yourself into thinking that you will be as important to the writer as he/she is to you. Remember, you are peering in on their life, sharing their thoughts, and though they may become quite special to you, you remain a mystery to them. If they are cold or unreceptive to your advances, keep in mind that you are a stranger to them at this point, and they may or may not want to keep it that way. It’s entirely their choice.

Don’t be a psycho stalker.

You shouldn’t contact people with messenger services unless they list their handles on their website. If you got it from someone else, forget you ever had it, they probably meant to keep it somewhat private.

A writer has the right to stop writing at any time for any reason they see fit, and at no point must they justify or explain these reasons to you or any of their readers. It’s their weblog, they can do with it as they please.

Offensive language and materials

The internet is a place that encourages free and creative expression, and as in any environment where people are given this freedom, conflict may arise. If an author uses language or materials that offend you, leave. Contacting the person or their isp, demanding they remove the content or change their ways is absurd because you are viewing their content of your own free will by visiting their site. Simply stop going there and you won’t have to see whatever it is you don’t like about the site. An obvious exception to this would be if someone were providing illegal materials, in which case it would be appropriate to complain to their ISP orcontact authorities.

Copyright and courtesy

Never ask someone to make you a layout, to help with your site or show you how to do a certain script or graphic effect that they have on their site, unless they specifically offer their help. There are plenty of tutorials available to help you, just use a search engine to find what you need.

Never use anything off a person’s site, be it writing, images or html code, unless they say otherwise. People are very attached to their work and don’t usually respond well when others help themselves to it. Copyright is protected by law and in effect the minute something is created, whether the author has a © notice or not. Can't wait for this movie! It will only release by next year December! It seems like I still need to wait. However, it will be worth waiting and is a must watch for me.

Cannot think of where to go

It's hard for me to think of where to go. All the places almost the same. The worst thing is, I will get sweat and become sticky just when I step out of the door. Oh My.... The weather here was so unpredictable. Like yesterday, it rained so heavily in the afternoon. Luckily, that time I have come back from the mall.

I was so lazy to go out. some people will think, since you are here, you should go out whole day. But, I am different. Sometimes, I rather to stay at home. Then, some other people will comment, then you better stay in Penang and not coming over. Stay in Penang's house is the same. Haha, you are right too. Maybe I have come here too often until I make it as my relaxation place.

Need to go back soon and I still haven't got the thing I want! :(

Meeting up with AhhJohn

I managed to meet up AhhJohn finally. He looks so young and in fact, he is very young! He is not looks like working in a construction. Hahahaha.

We just met up for around 3 hours. It's fun and nice for meeting him. Hope to meet him in future. But he is busy, he works from Monday to Saturday for long hours.

File Types

There are many file types in one computer system. The most common and well known will be the picture files in jpeg and gif format. Besides the picture files, tons of file formats can be find. Sometimes, you even see some of the file extension which is weird. The worse part is, the downloaded files comes in an extension that you never see before and no idea which tool can open it.

I always encouter the above issue. Every time I got this problem, I will try to search it from the Internet. When I am lucky, I can get the solution in just few minutes. However, this is not applicable to some of the file types. I need to waste more than 30 minutes and even hours just to fix the file types problem.

Going to Rain

It seems like going to rain soon. It was cloudy the whole morning. I MSN with one of my friend just now and he told me it was raining in the east side. I am very confuse at the moment. I hope it will rain since I don't like this kind of weather. It makes me sick! On the other hand, I also wish not to rain because I need to meet up someone later and I need to walk towards the meeting place.

Rain or not to rain? Hmmmmm...... Rain when I was inside the mall and stop the rain when I am out of the mall. Sounds good? YES!!! Sounds really good to me. But, I am not the God. I cannot predict the weather and make any decision on it.

My Motorcycle

I have abandoned my motorcycle for many months. I just left it there in the house. I just renewed the road tax and it was with my friend now. I need to get it first before I can ride on it. I just afraid that I need time to start it since I never start it since few months back. Hopefully, I no need to change any motorcycle parts, if not, I will need to spend money again.

The other day I went to the post office to get the cash rebate for my car. Today, I go into the posonline website to submit for my motorcycle.

It is very easy. Just register as the user and click on cash rebate. Select the payment method, either bank or money order. Key in your bank account number if you opt for bank. Click on submit and it is done! From the site, it said that I can get my payment latest by 9.00am on the next two business days from transaction date.

Hmmm..... Let's wait and see.

No Yoga for Muslims

As what mentioned from the title, all Muslims cannot perform or learn the Yoga starting from now on. From the news I read, the council made this decision because they afraid the Muslims will betray their religion and go for others.

I am wondering, if a person is not loyal to his religion anymore, he or she will go for others no matter what they do. Furthermore, from what I've known, Muslims are not allowed to go for other religion once they are in, right? So, what is so big deal about Yoga?

I am not really understand. Why they always have so many rules?

Windows Processes Error

Back to the time when computer runs on 286 processor and Windows 3.1, I was still very small. That time, the computer was expensive but my aunt owns one. However, I cannot use it as I wish since it's not mine. My aunt scared I will break her computer.

After many years, when I have my own PC, it was run on Windows 98. The frequent error that we encountered was the blue screen and hangs the PC. Nothing can be done except restarting the PC. After Windows 98, there are 2 versions of Windows: Windows ME and Windows 2000. Windows ME was not stable and always encountered Windows processes error. Windows 2000 was more stable if compare to Windows ME.

Windows XP is a more stable version of Windows and commonly used until now. Although Windows Vista is available, most of the companies still stick to Windows XP since Windows Vista is not compatible with some of the software.

If you are a dell PC user, maybe you will notice that there is an extra process in the Windows task manager: quickset.exe. Quickset.exe is the one and only process that will only appear in a Dell's PC. From Application Error's blog, it explains what quickset.exe is and what its main feature is. You can also get the info if you encounter the dell quickset.exe error.

Don't forget to refer to Application Error's blog if you are facing windows processes error that you have no idea on fixing it.

Google Logo during Halloween

I missed out this logo and didn't post about it during the Halloween. It is almost a month time since the Halloween.

PC Error

When I first have a computer back to the year 1998, I was not good at that. I have no idea on how to uninstall a program. I will just go to the destination folder and click on delete. This is why it caused my PC always corrupted and need to reformat. Yes, I am good at formatting. Anything unusual happened to the PC and I was not able to solve it, I will just format it. Easy right? But trust me, formatting a hard disk is a very tedious job.

Later, when I have more knowledge on the PC, I know where to search for a solution: Internet! Internet is the largest knowledge base for us to search and get the solution for any of the PC error. Not only me, I think most of the PC users will get frustrated when the PC is giving you an unknown error such as error 632 that you totally have no idea at all. The only thing you can do is to get the solution online.

No Winner

No winner for the last guessing game. No one guess it correctly! =.=


The economy rice only costs me RM 2.60. There are people guessing RM 2.50 and RM 2.70 but none of you guess RM 2.60. Too bad. Never mind, I will have another one real soon. :)

Just some update, I have been busy recently and sick for the whole last week. Now, I am back to normal. Night shift was so tiring! Last time it was OK for me. But now, I think because of getting old, I cannot stand it anymore.

Last week on One Million Star, Liang Wen Yin 梁文音 and Wu De Hong 吴德宏 duet Karen Mok's song, title If Without You 如果没有你. They sang very good and got the highest mark of 24/25.



After the show, I went to search for the original song from Karen Mok. Very nice song and meaningful lyrics. I fall in love with it.



To my surprise, when I search through Youtube, I found out Zeng Pei Ci 曾沛慈 also sang this song before in the One Million Star. I cannot remember I watched that. Oh my.... My Zeng Pei Ci sang very well also!! :)

New Clothes

Year end is coming and Chinese New Year is just 2 and a half months away. Some people will start to do the shopping while some others will start the spring cleaning. For me, I will only do it when it comes nearer especially spring cleaning and shopping for Chinese New Year food. The shopping mall will only start to have the Chinese New Year food 1 month before the Chinese New Year, which is around Christmas' time, I believe so.

Normally, I will buy clothes all year long if I saw some which is nice. I will not buy the new clothes just because new year is coming and we need to wear a new one. Most of the time, I will buy it in Singapore when I visited there. If you don't like to go to shopping mall, you can have another alternative way, which is shop online. Many nice clothes are selling online including the tactical pants.

Try to have your shopping list ready by this month and start your shopping by next month.

The price is at RM39.90++ for adult. After the 10% service charge and 5% Gov tax (Still have gov tax or not?), it will be at RM45.88. After the rounding up, it will be RM45.90 per person.

Economy was not really good recently. The share keeps on dropping. From the news, we can know that the economy downturn seems to be approaching soon. Before it starts to hit us, we need to make sure we have enough precautions to overcome the situation.

Most of the families start to cut down and control over their budget. They only spend on the necessities. There are many ways to save cost. When I first started to have my own domain, I thought it will be an easy job. What I need to do is just go to the domain site, find a domain and buy it. I never think of other stuff. I thought once I have my domain, I can publish anything that I want without anything else.

100M Student

I have no idea whether any of you are watching this Taiwan game show or not. 100M Student is like this: The contestant needs to answer the primary school questions according to the different subjects and level. There are 3 help lines for them to use, if they have no idea on the answer for the question. It is almost the same as the game show: Who Wants to be a Millionaire. 100M Student was hosted by Zhang Xiao Yan, the lady who is the co host for Happy Sunday with Harlem Yu last time.

I watched the first episode. I cannot stand the stupidity of some contestant. Since it was the first episode, the contestant are those who is famous like artist, actor, singer or even sportsmen.

There is one simple Maths question which the sportsmen cannot answer. By the way, He was the famous sportsmen in Taiwan. The question go like this:

There is a sausage 50cm in length. A man eats 220mm and the remaining, cut into 7 pieces. How many cm is one piece of the sausage?

That sportsmen answer 7.1cm. I almost fainted. Is it sportsmen only good at sport and totally failed in simple maths?

No one get the answer correctly. Only Kikey and Hoon have the nearest answer, but they never mention DVD. Too bad.
