Mooncake Hunting
I went to Sunshine Square yesterday. The main purpose is to get Mooncake for my brother. He is coming back this Saturday and wants to eat Mooncake. According to him, he has not tried Mooncake for 3-4 years.
I bought the Mooncake from Hai Wai Tian. I used to buy from them. There is a 20% off for all the Mooncake. In fact, other brands are also having a 20%. I heard from my friend, during the weekend, there is an additional 10% off, which is 30% off for Mai Ke Si and Kum Lun Tai.
I bought 5 of them: Lotus with 1 york, White Lotus with 1 york, Red Bean, Si Mut Nai Cha and Mix Nuts. I never tried any of them, I cannot let you know whether they are nice or not.
Besides Mooncake, the happiest thing during the Mooncake festival is carrying the tanglung or lantern. I still have the old type tanglung at my house. Now, there are many made by plastic and using the battery. No matter how, I still prefer the old fashion one.
